We shared our experiences and sectoral practices at the ITU Sector-Academics-Student Meeting, which focuses on the future of mining and environmentally friendly production models.

Gübretaş Mining Investments Inc. As a silver sponsor, we participated in the Sector-Academician Student Meeting, organized for the fourth time this year by Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Mining. The event, held on October 21-23, created an important bridge between the academy and the industry by focusing on the future of mining and environmentally friendly production models.

Our General Manager Engin BAŞER, a graduate of ITU Mining Faculty, Department of Mining Engineering, and our senior engineer Mehmet DELİBALTA attended the event. In its presentation, Delibalta shared Gübretaş Maden's field practices, sustainable mining approach and sectoral experiences with the participants. The presentation was followed with interest by students and academics and strengthened the knowledge sharing between the industry and the academy.

The event provided high efficiency in terms of raising awareness about the future of the mining industry by providing direct interaction with young engineer candidates and academic stakeholders. Participants had the opportunity to obtain detailed information about current production practices, environmentally friendly technologies and innovative solutions.
