Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları A.Ş is in the belief that it is necessary to continuously improve the Environmental Management System, which is valid for managing and measuring environmental performance, it aims to make all its employees and units implementers of this system. It undertakes to take the following steps to achieve these goals.
• Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları A.Ş's Environmental Policy will be created and announced to all stakeholders within the scope of the projects through different communication channels.
• A regulatory risk management and compliance framework will be established and maintained to continuously identify environmental issues/hazards and assess their associated risks.
• Compliance with national and international laws and regulations and other requirements regarding the environmental management system will be constantly checked. Adequate resources (human resources, technical and financial resources) will be provided to ensure compliance.
• By establishing a framework for determining, implementing and reviewing environmental goals and objectives on an individual and departmental basis, it will be aimed to continuously improve the Environmental Management System and achieve the desired environmental results.
• All personnel, including the contractor and visitors, must have the appropriate training and competence to carry out their activities in accordance with the environmental requirements relevant to their roles, and that these persons are responsible for Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları A.Ş. will be ensured that they are informed about their expectations and requirements.
• A management system will be established to establish a positive bilateral communication and consultation process with all stakeholders regarding environmental issues. As a result, a transparent and reliable communication will be established with all stakeholders and a mutual consultation environment will be created on environmental issues. In this context, Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları A.Ş. is aimed for stakeholders to contribute to management measures.
• As a part of the Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları A.Ş. information and records management system, the continuity of environmental data, records and documents will be ensured by establishing a framework for identifying, preserving, controlling and disposing of all documents.

• In order to minimize the impact on the environment, sufficient resources (human resources, technical and financial resources) will be provided to identify environmental emergencies and crisis situations of each project, to prepare for them and to ensure the continuity of the capacity to respond appropriately to them.
• Each Contractor and/or supplier must carry out its activities in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations and Gübretaş Maden Yatırımları A.Ş. All necessary control measures will be implemented to ensure compliance with the Environmental Management Plan and related procedures.
• A plan, procedure and relevant reporting tools will be developed to ensure that all environmental incidents, including near misses, are reported, investigated and root cause analyzed, effective corrective/preventive actions are taken as quickly as possible and then analyzed. In this context, it is aimed to prevent the recurrence of these reported environmental events.
• To identify trends in environmental parameters, measure progress and assess compliance. It is aimed to review the entire system at regular intervals by establishing procedures that will ensure the monitoring, auditing and reviewing of environmental performance, the environmental management system and the measurement tools used.
