The meaningful journey, which started with the handprints of our female employees within the scope of International Women's Day last year, came to life with a special work completed at Söğüt Gold Mine. The “If Women's Hands Are Worth the Land” project strongly demonstrated the value that women's labor adds to production.

Gübretaş Mining Investments Inc. We have completed the "If a Woman's Hand is Worth the Land" project, which we implemented to make visible the power of women in production and the value they add to social life, with a meaningful work.
The first step of the project was taken last year within the scope of March 8 International Women's Day. Our female employees came together and left their handprints on the heart of the soil in the study hosted by Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. Each trace; It carried a special meaning, representing labor, production, determination and hope for the future.
After a year of meticulous artwork, the traces left by our female employees came to life as a meaningful whole at Söğüt Gold Mine this year. The resulting work is not just a work of art; It has taken its place as a strong symbol of the knowledge, labor and contributions of women in the mining industry.
There are traces of women's labor at every stage of production in mining, in every step taken for a sustainable future and in every touch that adds value to the land. The “If a Woman's Hand is Worth the Land” project was completed as a permanent reflection of the value, solidarity and common success that women add to production.
I would like to thank all our female employees who contributed to the realization of this meaningful project, the valuable academicians of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University and the Head of the Ceramics and Glass Department, Assoc. Prof., for their valuable support to the project. Dr. Leyla Kubat, Vice Rector of Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University and Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Prof. Dr. We would like to thank Murat Yurdakul.
We believe that the value created by women in production, science, art and all areas of life shapes our future; We continue to work for an equal, inclusive and sustainable future.
