The Söğüt Gold Mine Capacity Increase EIA Report, which was prepared to obtain the final evaluations of the project by the review and evaluation commission consisting of public institutions and organizations determined by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, has been submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

number 82050 within the borders of Söğüt district of Bilecik province , the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) process of the project was started as of 25.02.2021. The Söğüt Gold Mine Capacity Increase EIA Report, which was prepared to receive the final evaluations of the project by the review and evaluation commission consisting of public institutions and organizations determined by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, was submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization as of 10.09.2021.  In the ongoing process, the submission of the Final EIA Report and the obtaining of the EIA Positive Decision will be carried out.

In addition, regarding the project, Phase 1 facility equipment and mining machines to be used in mining activities will begin to arrive at the project site as of the beginning of 2022.
