Efforts are continuing to bring the gold resource into the economy within the scope of the Söğüt Gold Mine Project in the field belonging to GÜBRETAŞ in the village of Sırhoca on the Söğüt-Eskişehir highway .

General Manager of Tarım Kredi and GÜBRETAŞ Maden Yatırımları A.Ş. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Fahrettin Poyraz, stated that they will make additional investments in the field in Söğüt district.

Stating that the EIA report and other studies in the mine area are continuing and that a three-phase study will be carried out in the region, Poyraz said, “Because there is not a single mine there. There are two different types of minerals, both oxide and sulphide. "We will make two different intertwined complex investments for these different mine types." he said.

“We Forecast an Investment of 450 Million Dollars”

Poyraz emphasized that they are working to put the mine into operation as soon as possible and said, “We are currently making an additional investment in ordering machinery, equipment and orders. Our goal is to pour the first gold at the end of 2022. There is a gross size there that corresponds to approximately 6 billion dollars in terms of the Turkish economy. "We foresee a total investment of 450 million dollars this year, next year and in 2023 to extract this 6 billion dollar value from there." he said.
