We raised awareness of fire safety among our employees with VR experience, equipment demonstrations and interactive activities.

As part of the 25 September - 1 October Fire Protection and Fire Fighting Week, we came together with our Söğüt Gold Mine employees at an important awareness event. The event was enriched with various practices in order to strengthen occupational safety awareness and raise awareness of emergency situations.

Within the scope of the program, our employees had the opportunity to experience fire scenarios prepared using VR technology. Thanks to this application, they practically observed how correct reaction behaviors are shaped in case of fire and reinforced their theoretical knowledge in a realistic environment.

In another part of the event, the equipment used by fire and fire brigades was introduced by our Gübretaş Mine Search and Rescue Team. The awareness level of our employees was increased by providing information on fire prevention methods, correct intervention techniques and the principles of use of equipment.

At the end of the day, we made a fun and motivational closing to the event with the dart tournament we organized. Portable fire extinguishers were presented to our winning employees in the tournament, giving them both a pleasant and meaningful reward.
